Even when working with executives, business owners or professionals, I consider coaching to be a holistic practice – that is, dealing with the person’s whole life and the whole person (intellect, emotions, strengths, values, heart, beliefs, attitudes, patterns, skills, abilities…). This approach helps people create the changes that really matter and positively influences their whole lives.

Though you may initially choose to focus on one particular area of your life or business that is important to you right now, know that you can (and most likely will) bring other areas of your life or business to coaching. You will achieve more clarity, insight, understanding and motivation and be confident to take the steps towards achieving all your goals.

Personal Executive Coach

Most executive coaching focuses on performance. How you lead. How you communicate. How you deliver results. Those things matter — and we’ll work with them.

But in my experience, the leaders who seek out coaching privately — not because their company sent them, but because something inside them is asking for it — are rarely just looking for performance optimization. They’re looking for something harder to name.

Alignment. Authenticity. A way of leading and living that doesn’t cost them everything else they care about.

That’s the work I do.

I’m Guy Reichard — executive coach, based in Toronto, working with leaders across Canada and North America. I’ve been coaching since 2011, with over 4,500 hours of client work behind me. And what I’ve learned in that time is this: sustainable success — the kind that actually feels like success — doesn’t come from strategy alone. It comes from knowing who you are, what genuinely matters to you, and how to lead from that place consistently, especially under pressure.

I work one on one with executives, business owners, and senior professionals who are ready to go beyond surface-level development. People who are accomplished, self-aware, and honest enough to admit that something isn’t working the way they want it to.

What Makes This Different

Because of the safe, honest, non-judgmental space I work to create, I’m often the coach leaders hire privately — even when their organization provides or will sponsor one. That says something about what people actually need versus what standard executive coaching typically offers.

This isn’t coaching your title. It’s coaching you — the whole person behind the role. Your values, your patterns, your protective behaviors, your authentic strengths, and the places where fear or old beliefs are quietly running the show in ways that no amount of skill development will reach.

I tend to go against the grain of conventional executive development — not for the sake of it, but because the conventional approach too often optimizes the surface while leaving the root untouched. Real change, lasting change, goes deeper than that.

This work is grounded in Self Leadership — a framework that helps leaders understand what’s actually driving their behavior under pressure, and develop the inner capacities to lead from their most grounded, clear, and authentic self. It’s the most meaningful work I do. And for the leaders it’s right for, it changes everything.
